Cooling, repair

Air Conditioning Repair

A system that's short cycling, blowing warm or tripping the breaker gets a real diagnosis, not a guess. NATE and ICE certified techs work on Lennox, Trane, American Standard, Comfortmaker and Mitsubishi Electric, and on whatever else is already bolted to the wall. Nights and weekends are emergency service only, but the phone still gets answered.

All makes, all models

Repair and maintenance aren't limited to what JTech sells. A mini-split, a packaged unit or a system nobody makes parts for anymore still gets worked on. Staff wear shoe coverings inside the house, and a second opinion is available before anyone signs off on a bigger repair.

Service rep Pablo and his co-worker did a great job. He kept me informed on what he was doing. Answered all my questions and a few that I didn't even ask. Overall excellent performance.

Cooling, installation & replacement

AC Installation & Replacement

This is the old condenser coming off the pad and the new one going on in the same visit, line set and all. JTech gives a free estimate or a second opinion before anyone commits to a full system, and financing is available, subject to approved credit.

A Lennox Premier Dealer, not just a reseller

JTech is a Lennox Premier Dealer and also carries Trane, American Standard, Comfortmaker and Mitsubishi Electric, so the system that goes in is sized for the house rather than whatever's sitting on the truck that day. Air handlers, heat pumps, packaged systems, thermostats and zoning all come from the same visit if the job calls for it.

Our AC finally died this summer after many attempts to keep it running. I can't say enough positive words to compliment J Tech's office and service men. They were always polite and professional even while trying to deal with our home owner's warranty. I highly recommend Jech if you have any ac repairs required. Brittany was in the office and Louis was the repairman.

Heating, furnaces

Heating & Furnaces

Furnace repair, installation and maintenance run the same way the cooling side does: honest diagnosis first, all makes and models, and a crew that shows up when the office says they will. Biyearly tune-ups catch worn parts before a Houston-North cold snap finds them for you.

One team, two seasons

A tune-up before cooling season and another before heating season is what keeps a furnace running at the efficiency it was sized for instead of limping through January on a cracked heat exchanger nobody caught. There's no job too big or too small, and financing is available, including rebates and discounts, subject to approved credit.

We were assigned to J-Tech through our home warranty company for an HVAC tune-up. The technician did a great job! He was on time and professional and price was exactly as expected. Would hire again once our home warranty ends!

More from the shop

Three more things JTech handles regularly that don't need a chapter of their own.

Indoor Air Quality

Filtration, humidifiers, dehumidifiers and zoning through Lennox Healthy Climate Solutions, sized to whatever system is already running rather than sold as a separate box on the wall. Ventilation gets looked at the same visit if it's part of the problem.

Ductwork & Insulation

Leaky or undersized ductwork pushes static pressure, measured in inches of water column, well past what the blower was ever sized to move. Cleaning the run and adding blown-in insulation brings that number back down and gets air reaching rooms that were never getting their share.

Commercial HVAC

JTech is open to commercial customers alongside residential work: repairs, maintenance and new installation, licensed in Texas under TACLB27421E.Joey runs the shop day to day, and the same crew that services a house on a Tuesday services a business on a Wednesday.
